Privacy Policy

Overview

This site (nickmiller.tech) is operated by Nick Miller as a portfolio and point of contact for software development and project management services. This policy describes what information is collected when you visit, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

Information Collected

• Analytics data. When you browse the site, Google Analytics collects standard web analytics (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device and browser type). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
• Scheduling information. If you book a call through the embedded Calendly scheduler, Calendly collects the name, email address, and any other details you provide, and shares them with me so I can prepare for and attend the meeting.
• Direct contact. If you reach out via email or phone, any information you include is retained only as needed to respond.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics — site analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Calendly — meeting scheduling. See Calendly's Privacy Notice.
• Google Fonts — font delivery. Google Fonts may log the IP of requests made to serve font files.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Calendly set first-party and third-party cookies when their respective features are used. These cookies are used for analytics, session management, and preventing abuse. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect how the site and the scheduler function.

How Information Is Used

Collected information is used only to operate the site, respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct meetings, and understand aggregate site usage. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

Your Rights

If you are a resident of California (CCPA/CPRA) or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you have the right to request access to the personal information held about you, request its deletion, and opt out of any sale or sharing of that information. No personal information is sold. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

Data Retention

Contact and scheduling details are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or fulfill the meeting, and then are deleted or archived at my discretion. Analytics data is retained under Google Analytics' default retention settings.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
